I just received this card last month. Got the 100 back after the first 500 spent in 3 months deal. My first statement just cut this evening and there was 10,982 points in the rewards column I used it for a statement credit. I have put over 1 thousand through it this month, it says it will take 3-4 days to apply it to my acct. Another thing I thought was cool was I gave me the 1% on the first 500 too instead of taking the first 500 points for the cash back. Its only a extra 5 bucks but I was happy about it. Will pushing 1k a month help for cli if they see I have that every month. I pif every 2 weeks just not to max it out? It sucks but a 500cl I kinda have too.
It might, it might not. But since you're pushing more than your limit every month you use that as a really good reason as to why you're requesting the CLI. From my understanding, lenders do not like people making multiple payments every month because it cost them every time you make a payment online.
If a CLI fails, you can always call the executive office and speak with them (I like to follow the chain of command when dealing with companies instead of going straight to the higher ups) and I've heard a lot of people who has had success with that. But I think you have to wait at least 6 months before requesting a CLI from Chase.
Not with Chase can request cli at anytime. cli's are HP's. was approved for 1k then called backdoor and got it bumped to 1.8k.
yea I deffinatly planned on waiting 6 months to ask. just wondering if it 1k a month through it and i tell them I dont like going over 30% of the available balance maby they wil give like 3-4 k limit
never tried .. I just use my bank acct to pay and that dont cost nothin. I normaly use as i would for the 2 week period and pay it off in full. its hard not to max 500 expecially when its 90+ just for gas to fill my truck. the highest it was 440 and paid down the same day
