My history with Chase is somewhat tumultuous. I use to hate them because they wouldn't approve me for a Freedom when everyone else was getting one and when I had an AMEX among others. Then they finally approved me and gave me a 1,000 CL on the Freedom. I barley used it. Called and got a CLI to 3,000 finally then another CLI to 5,000 finally. Meanwhile all other cards were way ahead like BofA etc. I even forgot that I had the Freedom card since all my others were giving me nice limits. I then decided to apply for the CSP approved Visa Signature 5,700. Weird limit but I took it. Using the hell out of it to get the bonus. Less than a month later I decide to apply for the Chase United because I really like the idea of transferring bonus points to United from CSP. I have a hub here. I wanted this card to give me the benefits like priority boarding, free checked bags etc. bam approved today with a CLI of 12,000 WOW are you serious? Why so high? Strange bank. Ill take it though lol
