I got the Chase offer in the mail last week and put it where it will do me the most good, in the trash.
I'll have too second that...I don't own any Chase products but from what others have stated about JPMorgan Chase products I would have to take a pass as I see more negative talk about them then positive. A few years ago they seemed decent now with the economic meltdown they seem to have gone crazy with rate-jacking to 29.99% etc and boosting the minimum payments due $20.00 to $55.00+ that are due just to name few that I have heard about. Not saying they are not within their bounds but increases such as these on individuals that carry a balance and on some type of fixed income can be a death sentence.
Just a few of my thoughts....

That's weird. My chase card is nearly maxed out, and I haven't received an APR increase. As soon as they do, I'm transferring the balance, but as af now, it appears they've overlooked me. My other 6 cards have 0 balance
Maybe that's why they haven't rate jacked you, they can see you have 6 open cards and nothing stopping you from transferring your balance off of theirs.
Who knows HOW they think. I got the rate jack letter about 2 weeks ago. Fortunately, I only had a $335 bal, so I just PIF my last payment.
I figured it was because I was one of those lowly former WAMU customers who got switched to Chase.
Got a 1000 CL when I opened this card with WAMU, after 12 mos of on-time and mostly PIF payments, no CLIs or LUV
