Chase issue Best Buy Credit Card ?

Just receive mail from chase regarding my Chase Circuit City Visa account.

In May 2009, we will sending you a replacement Best Buy branded credit card that you can begin to us as soon as you receive it.

Anyone got this mail ? How about HSBC BestBuy credit card ?

I guess now that Circuit City is down, Best Buy is their next partner. Will you be receiving the card soon? What about points that you've accumulated over at Circuit City?

Wow, this is huge. I loved the increases that HSBC granted on my BB store card. Was Chase generous with increases on the CC card?

I just googled Chase and Best Buy and nothing relevant showed up.

That is in canada. I dont think chase is offering bb cards in US.

Circuit City was a chase backed card. Best Buy is a HSBC backed card. Does this mean Chase bought the Best Buy acct from HSBC? They both cant issue the same card.

Sounds like this is just in Canada.

It sounds like HSBC bought some of the Circuit City cards from Chase.
