Chase recon... APPROVED!!!

I finally decided to just call the backdoor sticky. (Thank goodness for this forum, or else I'd never know about these things!) I spoke w/a nice woman who said that my app was pending. She put me on hold to review it, and came back a few minutes later and I fully expected her to say, "at this time we can't approve you." But she said, I was approved for $3k! Thank goodness! I am SO relieved that I didn't waste an inq. And at least now I'm out of the $2k CLs.

I hope so. Actually, I'm not sure because when I re-read the terms, it said it's only for new cardmembers, and I did have an acct back in the 80s. So, I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I did jump on it because of the great offer. But even if I don't get the $350, I'm still really happy to have the card again. I didn't think I could ever get a Chase card again.

I was certainly exaggerating...but I've got lots of inquiries...
