I logged on to my Chase accoutn and there is no statement for May or June. My statement cuts on the 18th every month. Should I call or is this normal?
The last statement I have is April 2012
Yes, you should call. Although we are signed up for "online statements" we received a "paper bill" in the mail AND, we've got the statement online as well. If you aren't getting your online statements, let Chase know about this so they can fix it. Your UR points are probably not being reported properly either -- better check this out right away!
As far as I know, that only happens when there's no activity. I have 2 cards with zero balances that have not generated statements in a few months. They're not Chase cards, though.
Do you guys get an email stating your statement is ready to be viewed from Chase when it closes? I don't. But all my other banks do. I already know when my statement closes so it's not a huge issue, but just incase "life happens", I may forget someday. An email every month would certainly help. I sent them a SM and the person said
"In response to your inquiry, statements online are made
available to our customers within two business days after
the statement cycle ends."
Yup, they clearly didn't help me.
If there is no statement balance no statement will be generated. That's my case.
ETA: Even though I get an email saying my statement is ready for viewing, if I have no balance= no statement.

There is definately a balance on mine, every month. No emails, ever...
