My friend received a targeted offer for the Freedom card.  A $200 bonus after $500 spend. So it is possible.

Re: Is Chase still going to have >$200 opening bonus for freedom?

I received semi-regular offers from Chase for opening checking/ savings accounts with a cash back bonus, but not on any cc. After I apped and had an approval for a CSP, within a month or so they sent me the deal for $200 Freedom offer. I decided to hold off until next month to use it and opened a checking account with them instead(with a different online coupon for $200), because I hoped that would increase my chances of getting the Freedom. Plus I think there's a 10% cash back bonus for any money that comes off the Freedom and goes into a Chase checking or banking account. Two weeks ago I received another $200 Freedom offer. I'm not sure whether the new cc or the new checking account triggered the offers, but they're out there. I haven't searched online for the Freedom coupon, but that may be one way of locating one.

I can't believe you like money too. We should hang out.

Re: Is Chase still going to have >$200 opening bonus for freedom?

$200 seems like the best offer going back to May 2012. I haven't heard of a better offer since then.

there are/were targeted offers for up to 30k UR ($300).

Other than that there are no working promo links for better sign-up bonuses.
