I currently have 2 cards with Chase - $1100 Amazon and $6500 Southwest. My Amazon card turns 1 year old in October. Do you think they would let me transfer some of my SW limit to it to make it $5k? And if they do, would they then upgrade it to a Visa Signature?

Chase use to allow transferring of limits pretty easily.
they will definitly let you tansfter the limit, this won't automatically make it a Visa Signature card though.

They still do. Are you implying otherwise?

How long have you had the SW?
Got it back in March.
Do you think they would tell me in advance whether or not they could do it, or no?
The extended warrantys on purchases using Signature cards are what I like about them.
