How sure of a thing is it when you have Eligible Offers when going through the prequalified section of the chase website? Anyone know who they tend to pull in PA?

Pre-approvals are just rough estimates. They are by no means accurate indicators of approval odds.
Check credit pulls database or who gave me credit.
+1.
Thank you. Checked out whogavemecredit, but wondering how accurate that even is. I see denials with high scores, and approvals with lows so something else is in the mix, plus can't always tell which report they pulled. FICO from auto lender put me at 760 and FAKO at 705 but IDK what Chase will see on the real score.
Creditpulls helped some more. Thank you everyone for suggestions.

They look at the whole file the high scores might have gotten a bunch of new cards and inquires and listed a faco scores. The low score could have been using Fico score and low inquires. Credit pulls tell who pulled from what credit agency in the state.

Yes, creditpulls is a nicer database to search. Seems though they pull TU for my state and TU seems to always lag behind the other two in updating so have to wait for balances (which will put utl on revolving from 35% down to 15% to update, but also concerned about inquiries as I've got 6 spread out over last 18 months.
Does anyone know if you apply for one card but are not approved, do they/could they offer a lessor card?
FYI From what I have read Freedom seems to be the card most have an easier chance of approval. YMMV

Inquires hold less weight after 6 months and after a year not figured into your credit score. After 2 years no longer on your credit report.
