I've called Chase for CLI on my freedom probably 10 times in the past years. Never gotten a hard pull from it but I do specifically ask them not to do so. On my last call I asked for the retention dept. and he knew of my collection account without initiating a HP.

Chase is generally a Hard pull company so i will keep it Hard unless alot more people state its a Soft pull.

i have always gotten a Hard pull from Chase and alot of other people i know also have as well

GECRB= soft pull on Amazon and walmart store cards 100% of the time.

BoA= YMMV not 100% hard.  I hit the luv button and went from 1000 to 2500 online instant with no hard pull.
