you can ask for one at the branch but he will just have to call the cc dept. if he doesnt give him the number( the manager can call)

and then he will talk to them then they will talk to your dad or you. but it wont be a soft pull still.

trust me if i knew i would do it. (and tell you how)

Re: Chopping block for 2013

Great thread!

2013 Chopping Block:

1.  Macy's.  Nice store, but they do take Visa so no reason to keep store card.

2.  CapOne.  Will replace with State FCU no FTF.

3.  GE PP MC.  Online banking platform sucks.

4.  BOA.  Like pulling teeth with those people for every little thing.

5.  2 out of 3 Navy Fed cards.  Don't need so many.

6.  1 out of 3 USAA cards.  Don't need so many.

7.  Barclays Barnes & Noble.  B&N is on its deathbed anyhow.

I think I am going to chop a few cards here.... Still thinking about which ones.

Would be nice to get to 5 cards - total. Right now I have like 16....

Similar situation here... the problem is I have higher limits on all my cards. Need to get down to a managable number tho...

DAMN! You have 16 cards? How do you keep track of them all? Spend a little on each a month?

As of 2017, rebuilding...

Don't know about Ray but I have a spreadsheet to ensure I charge something (even a pack of gum) every other month. Its become more of a burden than anything.
