Re: CiTi BT ??

Don't worry too much and ask for the CLI. Explain to them it's for a BT. They might do another HP though.

Re: CiTi BT ??

Citi seems to be the creditor that doesn't mind a balance. I would try to get to 500 or more than what u need. Another HP may be required but if you need more credit to save u money over the long run then it may be worth it.

Re: CiTi BT ??

You shouldn't have a problem. When I applied for my Simplicity, I indicated that I was interested in a balance transfer, told them how much and which account. The CL was less than the BT amount I requested and CITI (not me) chose to max out the card for the balance transfer. I had quite a chuckle when they did that. CL was 2k and I think the BT brought the balance to 1996.00 which included the BT fee.

Re: CiTi BT ??

Good luck, Trigga. For your own good, try to get out of debt during the BT period. Set a plan and a budget and stick to it. If you just keep moving the debt around you will end up paying way too much in interest and BT fees and you won't end up getting anywhere closer to your financial goals. Work on that debt before doing anything else with credit! Except maybe this CLI.
