Re: Citi CLD After Payoff

Oh you have two Citi's, again sorry to hear and hope you get it resolved. Does the card say WE? You can put the name of the card to anything you want online btw.

Re: Citi CLD After Payoff

This is why I don't like Citi... How rediculous!!!!!! Personally, if their gonna be rude like that, I'd threaten legal action as universal default violates the CARD Act. Call them and ask the exec office if they have violated that law... See what they say ;-)....

I had TWO fraud accts pop up on my credit report over the summer... NONE of my creditors cld'ed me, not even Barclay's. You need to dispute that old negative account ASAP!

Back to my original estimation: Citi sucks.

Re: Citi CLD After Payoff

Wow, that is harsh! My sympathies to you.

Out of curiosity, how old is the paid collection? Is it still within the CRTP? If not, I would dispute with the CRAs to have it removed due to its age.

Re: Citi CLD After Payoff

Perfect.. Then they should have reinstated your account...

Blah, that is just such a horror story... They need to do something for you!!!

Did your FICO bounce back after the removal of the collection? I know mine bounced back to about 700 after dropping to 640'ish...I had two fraud accounts pop up though.

Seems like Citi is still stuck in 2008(financial crisis mode).
