Pete,
Did you do yours online or on the phone? I agree about not going crazy. Right now my CL is $1900. I'm thinking about asking for another $1900. Do you think that's reasoable? I had heard about Citi making counteroffers in these situatins, but I'd rather not lean on that.
I had 2000 cl, asked for 2000...and 5 secs later it said approved. I was very pleased. I did this online (tab for cli)

at 6,500 what's not considered crazy? 19,500 like Amex is too much?=)
I would say 3-4000 would be a wise range.. You could try for 6500, but that might trip a HP

If you have keep your scrores up, and have evrything is good standing...I would pull the trigger on 1900.

Thanks Pete...I have done those things, though if its a soft pull do the scores really matter as much as the account/payment history?
One last thing...did you go to the "Services Tab" and click on the CLI request, or did you have a link on your main account page? I'm just wondering if something new appears when you're eligible.
I went to services tab....put it in what i was looking for....and done.
