Hey, look on the bright side...at least you GOT a Citi card. My scores are in the 700 range and they won't touch me because I have a BK7 (just over 2 years old)

Sounds like they didn't even pull a report at all.  Maybe you are asking to soon and they are just flat denying based on that.
