Citi Cards/AAdvantage

So on Saturday I got app happy and decided to give Citibank a shot since I actually like them as a financial institution. I went into a Best Buy and applied for the store brand card and was instantly approved for 2.5K. Later that day I applied for the AAdvantage Platinum Select Card and I got the standard need more information message. I called the backdoor number and the rep said they needed to verify my address so I sent in a utility bill that day. It's been a few days now and still haven't heard back. Anyone have any insight or experience with Citi?

I got denied from them. Smiley Sad I'll app again in a year. They want at least 1 year of established credit history (CC/Loans).

Re: Citi Cards/AAdvantage

Citi doesnt allow 2 apps in 1 day. You need to wait 65 days before you submit another app with them. I believe their policy is 48 hours between the first two apps but its best to space them 7 days in a row.
