Personally, I liked my Slate when I had it for the BT. I think it was 0% APR for 15 months. I've always had good experiences with Chase's customer service when I've called or used secure messaging. It's my understanding that you can move the full credit line of the Slate to another Chase card once there is a zero balance and no activity in the card for 30 days.

Maybe someone else has a better suggestion, though. Smiley Happy

Re: Citi - Diamond Preferred

Thanks everyone, I think imma open the Slate card if Discover doesnt increase my line on the 13th. Then i can just move the CL down the road if need be. Also i tried calling Chase to see if they could tell me my internal limits...To my avail she couldnt tell me unless i requested a CLI. So i declined the CLI because i dont want a HP on either of my  cards since im pretty confident that wont happen since they are both relatively new.

Of the recent BT offers I've gotten, Discover was the most desperate. I had reduced the balance to effectively zero for a while the got the following two separate offers:

1) 0% Interest for 12 months plus a temporary CLI from $5k to $8k

2) Spend $1,000 and get $100 cash back, in addition to the 5% (I think that was right) cash back.

The key to getting BT to work (you may know this) is they need to be made to different banks. Can't get the promo balance transfers between to BOA accounts, for example, would need to be to BOA from Citi or Chase for example.

Good luck!
