Citi Diamond preferred pre qualified????

anyone been pre qualified for this card ???  just got a approval for barclays card 1000 limit, wanting to add one more 656 TU and EQ.  pre qaulified but dont want to app if citi is just pulling my leg

I received that offer in the mail and took it and got approved. It was my first unsecured/non-store card. I figured at that time, due to numerous inqs already, I had nothing to lose. I know that not all preapproved offers are actually that....more like bait for the hungry... :-)
