Citi Forward CLI - 6 months "too recent CLI" what?

[ Edited ]

Did Citi change their time frames for getting a CLI lately? I've had the card opened for 2 full years now, and have gotten 3 CLIs by calling in and requesting one and getting counter-offered for the softpull.

First CLI was after 6 months of card opening, second CLI 6 months after that, third CLI 6 months after that on Novemeber 26th, 2012. Today I tried for my next 6 month CLI and got declined due to getting a CLI too recently. Anyone have any ideas?

Same happened to me. I would wait till next month and try again. That is what I did and I got CLI without a pull. Sometimes their system is not updated yet.
