I researched the best card for restaurants/fast food and decided that Citi Forward's 5 points/$1 spent in those categories was the best deal. Older myFICO discussions indicate that there's a cap of 75,000 ThankYou Points per year. I read the Reward Program Information and didn't see anything about a cap.
I understand that 1 ThankYou Point doesn't equal 1 cent in most cases, but some have mentioned that at the 10,000 ThankYou Point level, you can redeem for $100 cash, or maybe statement credit... I can't remember.
If you're a current Citi Forward cardholder, please comment on the current point cap and best redemption rates.
