For ThankYou perfered, you'll need to spend a lot in order to earn a lot of annual bonus points. It starts with 1%, 2%, then finally 3% on ThankYou points you earned per year.
It is good card for heavy spender, otherwise Forward is better for conservative spenders. Though if you are a heavy spender then you should use AMEX Blue Cash instead.

Hahaha, congratulations! What others did you add this year?
Anybody know what type of credit or scores do you need to get approved for this card?

Amazon Chase Visa - 2500
Discover More - 3000
Military Star Chase Rewards Mastercard - 4700
NFCU cashRewards Visa - 8500
Amex Zync
Citi Forward - 5000
I too love my Citi Forward card. I opened it around march of 08 as a citi platinum w/1800 limit and my scores around 660. After 3 months they raised me to 2400, after another 6 I raised to 3500, then to 5000, then to 7500 and finally 10000. It might help that all of my student loans were with Citi which are paid and closed and my first credit card ever was a Citi Ford rebate card. They have also been good w/rate reductions, I am now at 10.24%.
