Just got the Marvel card. The 3% rewards categories include Theatrical and Concert Promoters, which the fine print defines as "Merchants that operate live theatrical productions or concerts", the same definition Citi cards use for Theatrical Promoters. The card also gives back 3% on dining purchases, as "determined by the merchant category code;" it is unclear to me if this includes establishments classified as drinking places (e.g. Joe's Pub is classified by citi in the "Restaurants - DRINKING PLACES-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES" category). My question is whether I'd get 3% back if I used the card for any of the following:
1. Ticketfly
2. Ticketweb
3. Goldstar
4. Joe's Pub
5. City Winery
Any insight would be appreciated.
