@Anonymous wrote:I was instantly approved tonight for $3,000 and the yucky 22.99% APR after 15 month 0% period. They pulled EQ and my score was 707 (My lowest of the 3).
My eq is highest don't know if I want to risk that high Apr. I will wait also to see if they ever offer sign up bonus
Sign-up bonus are whatever for me, I just want to establish a relationship with a wide-variety of creditors. This is my first Citi card.

Congratulations, and agreed!
I like to get best value if I am wasting a HP and sign up bonus is where I see best value. It's not a card I have to have so I can play waiting game
@mongstradamus At this point, I applied and was approved for 4 cards in 3 days. That makes 9 credit cards in 5 months. Hard inquiries don't matter to me anymore as I shall go into a deep prolonged gardening season.
I understand that but for me personally I want to get best value when I app that is primary reason I haven't apped for any amex cards waiting to get best value with prg sign up bonus. Also this card is an upgrade over qs but not a huge upgrade
I filled out the prequal page and got prequalled for the DC card at 17.99%, Hilton, AA, simplicity, and cdp.... I am waiting until the first week of sept minimum, and the first week in feb, max....Of course, if I end up waiting until feb, I'll probably just pc my typ. For data point: I filled out the prequal page 5 times and got the same offers each time; I have a card with them already; scores in my sig. I am certainly interested in this card, as I was going to probably apply for SM and QS soon.....but I wanted my arrival to hit 6 months old first, which just happened so we'll see....

It's a huge upgrade for me, but my situation is different. My QS1 was a Household Bank rebuilder card. It originally had a $300 CL and a $74 AF. I got them to bump the CL to $400 quite some time before Cap One took over. Through the EO, I got the card to $650 and then to $1000 and was PCed from the Platinum to the QS1. Unfortunately, I still have the $74 AF. The EO waived it last year, but that seems like a hassle to me. If I'm not able to get a significant CLI next month, I'm very likely to close the card and move one step further from Cap One. The only thing really holding me to it was it was the only MC in my lineup...until tonight.
The APR on the Double Cash is worse and the CL isn't much better than my QS1, but the rewards and AF are a huge improvement for me.
So is the Citi Double Cash Card a Visa or Mastercar? I got a prequal from them, but didn't see that when I scanned over it...

That makes sense for you, I think there is way too much love for this card right now. I want to see how they give you cash back in practice. For me my qs is my lowest apr and highest CL, so if i am going to an 10.99% apr to 22.99% and I only got an CL of less then 5k i would be pretty disappointed.
When i did pre qual link they gave me 22.99 % apr maybe my credit isn't ready for that card yet, who knows.
