I received first pre-approval from Citi. The letter said you are pre-approved with no starts around it anywhere. Usually the preapprovals have a star around pre-approved word and then some where in the fine print, they write that they will check the credit worthyness, blah blah blah.
So is Citi preapproval really approved? Anyway, I don't need any credit cards now, I just opend a 0% card from US Bank and charged my Macbook purchase on that. So I shreadded the letter as I dont want to have second thoughts.
