For other Citi Prestige cardholders, it now seems that TY points can be redeemed towards AA flights for 1.6ccp. Not exactly the best deal compared to UR / MR / SPG, but nevertheless a significant improvement for Citi TY program.
If you have other TY points earning cards, such as the 5X version of TYP or forward, then the TY points can be pooled together as well.

I saw this earlier today, and it can be quite lucrative for those with a deep Citi relationship.
100k+ in annual spend and matching flight miles + Citigold/PB, all redeemed at 1.6 cpp each is a pretty good deal. Given you have all of those, you're earning 5 points per dollar on dining (2 x 1.5 relationship bonus +2 for flight miles). 5x1.6 = 8cpp when redeemed on AA or US.
For general spending it's (1 x 1.5 relationship bonus + 1 flight mile) per dollar. 2.5 x 1.6 = 4cpp.

You added 2 flight miles because dining expenses give 2 points per dollar spent, right? I had that initial impression as well until I gave Citi a call. The flight miles are given for per dollar spent, not per TY point earned
I felt like I got scammed a little when they told me that

That sucks. I wonder what else is a bit iffy on that card. Have you had a chance to try the 4th night free WEMC benefit? I wonder what the pricing is compared to BAR, and how often they actually honour the benefits when you check in.
