Recently, i purchased 3 packages of ihg points and used my ritz to pay for 2 of it, 1 with citi. And my statement just close today, citi count purchased at dailygetaway, which operates by Us travel association, as air travel, and i receive 3x points for it. I wish i know this sooner so i can put all of it on citi. 
. Btw, my AF also posted, 350,along with 230 credit for Sw airline, awesome fast, no call necessary. ^_^
