I'm thinking the same thing.  No idea if Citi would approve me now since its been about month when I got the AA card.

I'm worried about AA from other peeps. My Marriott, Ritz, US Air were all pretty recent.

Same concern.  Hey I have totally unrelated question for you about the club upgrade certificates that came with the Ritz card.  Are all three the same- you can upgrade your room for up to 7 nights to the Club level?

Yep. They're just numbered 1,2,3, but all 3 certs are good for "up to 7 nights in club level (subject to availability)"

Thanks.  I assume it's done automatically if you make the reservation.  It's not like there is any certificate number in them or anything to print out.

No, You'd want to make the reservation over the phone and specifically say "I'd like to use one of my upgrade certificates." At least how I understand it.

Re: Citi Prestige now 50K

I just called Citi since I go my card a little over a month ago. Told them about the offer and asked them if it could be extended to me since the card was new. They told me no, because that's the offer with that card and told me if I wanted that offer I wo have to apply again. I told them that sucks. So she gave me 5k in TY points on the spot taking me to 49k. I'm Cool with that.

Ha.  I'm not even opening the link as I'm pretty sure I'd apply if I did.

Anyone know the odds of Citi pulling something other than EX?

Citi never pull EX for me, EQ always

Re: Citi Prestige now 50K

Most of the time Citi seems to pull EX and/or EQ...many posters including myself have been double pulled both EX and EQ so if you have one of those reports frozen and Citi decides they wanna double pull you, then it will be instantly denied and they will state they need you to unfreeze such bureau.
