The article just said the credit card portfolio.

No news here in WIsconsin about Associated Bank being acqured. Citi must have had the Associated CC business for some time. Wikipedia shows Associated as an independent entity.

This should be pretty much a non-event for customers, US Bank is trying to grow it's Credit card portfolio. Change is always unsettling though.
