What's the value if you redeem them for statement credit?

Yes, 50%, Thank You don't like cash conversions.   Their new flexible reward (you choose and pay with points) is based on statement credit and so is 50% as well.

The best known way to get cash out is to go for the mortgage or student loan payment.   You can tell them that the mortgage holder is your bank, they send the check to you for you to send on, many just deposit it and it works fine.

Otherwise, if you want it as cash rather than store gift cards, you can redeem for say Walmart gift cards, and sell these to various card sites for about 93%.   Which is bad, but not nearly as bad as 50%   Since Jan 1, Walmart seems to have prevented you from buying Visa gift cards with walmart gift cards, this was a great way to get 99+%
