OK so as I browsed Citi's cards I saw this offer for the ThankYou Preferred card 20k Bonus points with $0 spend, typically its $1500. So not sure if this is a glitch/technical error and not certain if approved the points will post. Anyone wanna be ginny pig lol?

This must be a typo because the sentence structure wouldn't be used, e,g, "20K points after first purchase" or "20K points after approval"

So, you can screenshot it and later try to get your points, but this is Citi, and, IMO, fighting is not worth the hassle.

Definitely a typo somewhere in there. Definitely take a screenshot, save the URL, and record the date on which you saw it if you plan on applying with this offer.

Citi can track the edits to their website to honor offers that may have been mistakes, though it requires going through the ERU (Executive Response Unit) in South Dakota. Takes some time as well.

On my prequalification Citi page, the TY Preferred offer is 25,000 TY points for $1,500 spend. I'd rather have the points, because the spend is going to happen.

But not apping for this. Too many other new cards and trying to see if I can get CSP some time before the world ends.

This also reflects the .25% increase in the Prime Rate... these used to be 12.99% APR offers.

Might be one of the easiest card to get from citi if they are running this no spend promo. The foot in the door for some folks.
