I have Citi Dividend Elite World MC with EMV. It has no AF. $500 AF card I pass. No thanks.

It's a very nice looking card, but when you look at the AF vs. the benefits there are better options out there. The Amex Platinum and Chase United Mileage Plus Club card both come to mind, and both have lower AFs ($450 and $395 respectively).

 

It's lack of appeal is probably one of the main reasons they're making it open for applications. Unlike the old Citi Chairman card which for certain clients only, they needed to open this up to the public to boost the currently low levels of interest.
