@stone wrote:another interesting thing, the citi forward is gone from the citi website. only the college version left.
That is a bit strange. I wonder what their plans are.

+1 only Student Forward on website. It is kindve of outdated. Who buys music n books at stores. I'll use it for movies n dinner. Maybe I'll get an upgrade like OP!
The key aspect of bookstores is that Amazon is coded as a bookstore (speaking of outdated...).

Amazon started out as a bookstore, and most of their sales still comes from book related purchases (Kindle, book, etc).
And more importantly, ANYTHING purchased from Amazon earns 5 points per dollar with Forward.

Strange that it is gone... I wonder if it's going to be "relaunched".
Citi just auto upgraded my Thank you Preferred Visa to a Visa Signature this week too
Citi reports CL on Visa signature, not NPSL. I have a Thank You Premier and a Citi AA Visa Signature and both report the limits
Ah! I got a message that a new card was being sent out on my Citi Forward account too. I sent them a secure online message asking about it and they just said "it's been automatically upgraded". I still had no clue what that meant, but this must be it. Thanks for creating this post or I would have never known! lol.
My CL is $7700.
ETA: I've had the card for 9 months.
