Citi & Credit Scores

Just applied for a Citi card, was approved but not at the best terms so they gave me credit score. They said my Equifax credit score is a 725 on a scale from 250-900. Diesn't make sense to me, I thought  but Fico scores are on a 300-850 scale? Letter from Citi diesn't use the term "fico" anywhere. So is this my real score or not! Fako put me at 781.

It's not a real (FICO) score, it's Citi's own scoring system.... This is sort of where FICO really doesn't apply...:-/

Bankcard enhanced Beacon 5.0 FICOs use this range AFAIK.
