Citi cannot expedite cards?

Just got approved for Citi AA credit card last Sunday day. Called to expedite the card but was told they cannot do it because of security purpose. They only expedite for card replacement. I had my chase freedom approved the same day with Citi and i already have the card in hand. Chase expedited it. Citi reported the account to Experian today but not Chase. lol

oh i have the Freedom card expedited by calling CSP service number. This makes me wonder they can also service non-CSP card holders ( I have CSP). Well guess i will start calling the number if i need help for Freedom card . At least it directs to live person right away!

Citi is really slow. My mother's card was recently compromised, and it took 12 days to send a replacement. Also, after receiving an email about upgrading to EMV, I got my card after 2 weeks.

Hmm... they have expeditied cards for me twice for new accounts in the last twelve months!

I swear they expedited my Hilton Hhonors Reserve card when I applied.  They even sent it to my office.

just called and this time they told me it can be done. But since they already sent my card thru regular mail so the system wont let the CSR expedite the card. Well at least i know citi can expedite cards. Thank you guys.
