Citi does not allow overpayment rant

made purchase on 25, push the payment same day
bill closed on 26,
purchase post on 27
it just show negative balance on statement, count as zero for fico score and balance zero out when purchase post.
I feel more in control when I use bill pay.

That's why I love my BOA. My capital one credit card does not allow me to overpay pending purchase transactions. same thing same goes for my home depot credit card I'm not sure about my wells Fargo platinum.
