Citi "Luv"

I have been patiently awaiting the reappearance of the "Luv Button" for my Citi DP account. It was there today, right on schedule. So depress it I did, no form, and bingo:

Congratulations!

Your credit line has immediately increased by $1,600.00 for a total new credit line of $7,650.00.

Thank you Citi! It's good to be loved in these troubled times!

First time six months. Second time three months. Both no form = no hard. Started at $4.8K (which was a little lowish) now at $7.65K. It will be where it should be after the next CLI.

Re: Citi "Luv"

Dang!! So that means I have to wait another 3 months.  Should I be making a lot of charges on the cards?  What's the minimum amount  I should be charging on the card each month.

Re: Citi "Luv"

FWIW (which ain't much), I have never seen it on my Citi co-branded cards --Sears MC (ick, ick, ptooie) and Home Depot store card. Smiley Sad

Has anyone seen it on this type of card, or only on the straight non-affiliated bank cards?

This is a great question. I would like to know the answer since Her Ladyship saw fit to obtain those Sears cards. (A big mistake in my opinion. Not worth the $20 she saved!)

Re: Citi "Luv"

The luv button has been appearing on my Sears Citi backed card since I've had the card.  I'm not interested in a CLI for a store card.   I need it to appear on my Citi Platinum card.

All CLI's are good CLI's. They all help your UTIL. If you say you don't ever carry any balances then I will tell you they all help your Vantage scores.

I just received the card last month.  I sure can't be eligible for a CLI just yet.
