If you read the OP's first post, it says that
payments on 4 cards were made. 2 of them
were paid in full to zero, while the other 2 were
paid down to approx 2% of the limit. So as far
as the next credit report is concerned, 2 of the
accounts will show a 0 balance and 2 will reflect
2% of the credit limit. Since one of the cards with a
balance (albeit a low one) is AmEx, I suggested that
in the future the OP pay that in full as well. That's the
only point I was trying to make.
And with AmEx, you never know. You could stop at a
gas station that they don't like to buy a pack of gum,
and the next thing you know they're decreasing your
credit limit. But the odds of this happening are fewer
if you simply PIF AmEx each month and treat it like
a charge card.
