Citibank and BK

Hi guys,

So I've been a AU on a Citi credit card since June 2012 and I burned Citi  and included them on my Chapter 7 on July 2011. I hear that Citi have a blacklist, do you think I have a chance on moved on. Don't want to waste a HP

3 years still sounds pretty recent to me. I mean you could try but at the same time, you may have to do a lot of recon to get yourself back in with them. How much did you burn them for?

Thanks guys for the quick response. I think it was less than 3K, I made the arrangement to pay before they will start gardish my wages until I decided doing the BK was the best option. Now I use my credit cards wisely. I'm sure I can asked my relative to request a PC but I won't benefit the 50k promotion.

Re: Citibank and BK

I included Citi in BK back in 1991 and I just got 2 cards with them. 1 just this past November Citi Simplicity & yesterday Citi Diamond Pref. so, They don't blacklist forever at least not in my case.

Re: Citibank and BK

Believe it or not I have heard some people say they included them in BK around the same time I did and they still can't get back in with them so, it's not always forgotten 20-25 yrs later.
