The bonus is enticing I agree. But taking HP's and keeping the card open for a year and then closing it, ehhh. I guess there isnt a long term effect credit wise. it just seems like a hassle to do it all the time.
at the very least you can get 2 free flights an year anywhere in the US, its up to you if thats not worth it or not.
