im getting alittle itch.....to app

have a bk 7 from 2005.....

no baddies since then ....

i have 1 collection to be removed in 12/12

all else will be clean by june ...except for the public record showing BK

What are my chances????????

What CCR does citi pull?......no IIB accounts from citi

Should I just wait till june? ...BK will be 7yrs old

I would wait until they are off completely, more than likely EX or EQ.

You could try now but your chances of approval go down alot with the BK reporting, even tho it is old. IMO, 3 years a long time to wait but I feel like it may be a wasted INQ to go for it now.

I was recently approved for Citi Dividend, they pulled EX. I have a BK, from 2002, falls off in July. No other lates or baddies since BK. I would wait if I were you, at least until all lates and IIB accounts fall off. I only applied because I was reading on one of these forums ( can't remember where, sorry) that they MAY approve if BK is over 7 yrs old, with no other baddies, so i took a chance. When I applied for them last ( late 2010) I was denied. They are generally NOT BK friendly, even if SOME people get approved with a BK on their reports. Everyone's situation is different, and I wouldn't want to encourage anyone to waste a Inq, if they are unlikely to be approved. Also, They seldom instantly approve, and if you check some of the postings, it may take awhile for them to "review" the app. Good luck, whatever you decide.

You should definately wait for the collection to falls off.  As for the BK i don't think you would have a prbolem with those scores.  I was recently approved for Chase Disney Premier, Amex PRG, Amex Costco and Discover with a 7 years old BK.
