Well I have low scores and get approved with good rates for what ever I want. I am assuming it is from my thick file.

$48,130 / 38 = $1,266 average CL

While you get approvals, I wouldn't say those are CLs that show a lot of confidence.

I could understand where you would think that.  I have 5 store cards, 1 that is $100.00 and 4 that are $200.00. That is really brining down my average.

Before this year my wife had 1 credit card (18 year history) , a mortgage (14 year history) and 1 car loan (3 year history) she applied for two credit cards this year. USAA gave her 25k limit at 0 percent for 15 months and Chase gave her 27k limit.  You don't need thick reports you need long reports.

Then how would you explain getting aprroved for prime cards that are considered for people with good credit with very low 600 scores.  When I was approved, I had over 100 inquires on my Experian report as well?

None of this has anything to do with closing a PRG.. Once again, please keep this thread on topic. If you would like to continue this convo feel free to PM or start another thread. Thank you
