Re: Closing Amex Gold

The 100 dollar airline credit makes it worth it. There are other nice perks too but I was considering how long is keep this card for. That perk made me feel it's worth it. Pays for my curbside check in and a few drinks and extra snacks on the trip for the family and I.

I suppose you are correct. I didn't look at it that way. Not thinking clearly due to gardening burnout. LOL

That's good that you benefit as a cardholder Jeff.

Agreed use to be you would just downgrage to green but now with the $100 credit it makes the AF $95 and with all the added perks I'm keeping mine

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Thanks MyJourney! Resting for me would be refraining from frequenting the Approval threads. LOL

Yes. So I'm hanging out in the garden club thread now. Going to try to encourage others. Hopefully I'll encourage others and in return, I'll lose the drab feeling.
