I called to cancel two First Premier cards with zero balances today. She offered to add credits to both accounts so I accepted. I am thinking about leaving them open until right before the AF comes due. I now have a $30 credit on one and a $36.25 credit on the other. If I close now would they cut a check for the $66.25? Opinions?
I would close them and yes they would cut you a check for whatever is left over after they take fees out.
What did Jerry MacGuire say???? "Show me the money". Cut those cards up and demand closure. Enjoy a decent night out and a movie on First Premier. Considering the fees you have paid, you most likely deserve it.

The definately have made more $ than I will get back!
I fully intended to close so she offered the credits on both cards. I gave in and did not close. I definately want to close soon though because my AF comes due in Nov and Feb for the other. Maybe you should call and maybe get some of that crazy fee money back, then close. I hope I don't take too big of a hit, one card is 2.5 years old and the other is 1yr old

They will. I had two also and they owed me money. Sent checks out asap. No issues with them at all.
