Closing Rebuilders

I know we should pay the balance down to 0 before closing.  I have paid all balances down to 0 but they are not 0 on my CR yet.  Do you all mean I should wait until it reports 0 or just pay it down to 0 and it will report 0 once its closed?

Thanks as always!

Re: Closing Rebuilders

Once you have paid the creditor's balance off and you have verified that it is paid it's ok to request that the card be closed.
