Closing a CC Within 1st Year

Hi

If you close a CC in the first year of opening it, on the MyFico Credit-At-A-Glance page, will it show as an account opened in the past year?

For example, if you opened 3 new accounts in the past year but you close one, will the Credit-at-a-Glance page show 2 accounts since you closed one or will it still show 3 even one is closed?

Thanks

It will age like any other account (open or closed).

Unfortunately, closing the account doesn't take away the new account sting.

+1 Also true if you never even activate the card, in most cases.
