when I started my path to credit recovery, I got approved for the basic rebuilder cards...Orchard, BB RWZ MC, Cap One (2), Hooters etc...Since then, over the past few months I have ben getting approved for better cards and even a "prime" one. I got a Barclays card with a $1300 limit and now a Chase Amazon card with a $3500 limit.
Here's what I need to know...if I close some of these rebuilder accounts, will that effect my scores?
Orchard - $79 annual fee, $400 limit, opened in 2008
Best buy Rewards Zone MC - $59 limit, $510 limit. opened in February of this year
Hooters - $36 annual fee? $500 limit - opened March 2010
Cap One - $59 annual fee - $1000 limit, opened December 2008
Cap One - $39 annual fee - $500 limit, opened December 2009
If you close older accounts while opening new ones you AAOA will drop as will your FICO scores.
