Combining Orchard Cards...Make Sure They Close the Old One Properly

OK, so I combined the two cards. I had been overpaying so I had a credit of $1.58 on the old one. They even sent me a check for $1.58.

Today I get my email statement alert for the old closed one. AUGH, I am overlimit by $1.59 since my credit limit is now "0".

I called immediately, and the CSR said that it shows them refunding the $1.58 twice, so I still had a balance of $1.58 and the account protector kicked in at $.01. He said he would fix it.

I wonder what would have happened if I had never gotten the email alert and called them?
