Comenity Bank Question

So I have a few Comenity Bank Cards and most were approved for $250-$300 range with the exception of my pre-approval for the Brylane Homes Card which was approved for $700.

Should I call the Comenity recon line and try to get my other cards to match that one or should I just leave it alone? Just kind of odd that they would approve one for $300-400 more than the others when I had the same score the whole time.

Thanks

Re: Comenity Bank Question

Here's a run down on what I have outside of Comenity. Most of my Comenity cards are a month old...I had some pre-approvals pop up during the shopping cart trick so I picked and chose which ones I wanted.

Capital One: $1500 limit
Capital One: $1500 limit
Merrick Bank: $500 limit
Firestone Card: $1000 limit

just use them and keep hitting the cli button but if it's express and victoria secret those usually need 9 months before CLI but will take off after that.

Re: Comenity Bank Question

Don't overdo it on Comenity cards. You have enough. Which ones do you have besides Brylane? You're off to a good start. I tried calling Comenity when my instant cli was rejected on a $500 limit Overstock.com account.  They don't override.

With a score barely over 600, and with 2 Capital One accounts with a $1500 limit, you just need time and keep your balances under 30%. I wouldn't do anything for 3-4 months.
