Re: Comenity Credit Card List

How hard is it to get the AnnTaylor Mastercard? Since I have been gardening with 10 of their store catalog cards since Jan this year 2013, I just got preaproval for cap 1 m/c for $300 Quicksilver last month. Dont have anymore cards except Grandpointe catalog (Now closed) they closed i did not. My C/K score says 619 Fico and 720 Plus (Fako)

No derogs and only 5 inq...alltogather on all 3 CRAs, Should I app? I have seen on some other site that someone got approved with a 620 FICO for $500.   My goal is to have a decent M/C and a Decent Visa and 1 AMEX Card, But I am sure I will half to wait and stay in the garden for 2 or more years so I can establish History for them. But If I can get a Ann Taylor M/C I will be doing good for now. C/S shows exp score at 667, not sur about EQ but same info on all CRAs. Thanks for any advice.Smiley Wink

Well I don't have a logo, so I will just use @#@

Re: Comenity Credit Card List

Not very...I ran across this thread a few minutes ago so I applied online to just see (I didn't know Ann Taylor offered a Mastercard!) and got an instant approval for $1000.  I'm rebuilding, from a bankruptcy in 2005 and continued recklessness afterwards.  My credit scores are in the mid 600 range..now have several store and gas cards with limits from $300 (Lowes) to $900 (Amazon) and some major credit cards with Capital One, Barclays and my local credit union.  Two of my Captial One cards (Best Buy and Quicksilver) have annual fees of $39 and $59 and a combined credit limit of less than $1000  so I will be closing both of those with this new card!  Woo hoo! Smiley Very Happy

Re: Comenity Credit Card List

You can try the shopping cart trick if you do not want to end up with the inquiry. I just received their store card last month, and well see if eventually they upgrade me to the MC version.

Congrats on the new TL!  It's also good to close accounts with the AFs if they aren't serving a good purpose for you.

Re: Comenity Credit Card List

Thanks Sunrise!  I don't shop at Best Buy much, the card does offer rewards but not enough to where the rewards are worth the $59 annual fee.  I may hang onto my Quicksilver card since it's a new Capital One product and is suppose to offer great rewards.  The rewards on this one may end up covering the annual fee.  I'll have to monitor it for the next few months and see.

Re: Comenity Credit Card List

There have been a couple lists foating around the forums but I don't think this thread's list is as comprehensive as another one that JMills and other folks put together.  Please note that not all of these programs offer the pre-approval option or as commonly referred to as the "shopping cart trick".  Only certain Comenity retail card programs offer it and can change from time to time.
