happened to my wife.....you will have to MAIL them documents ...ID ss card utility bill ect, they will not accept faxes, they say it takes 3 weeks to proscess, but for here it took 7 days..... good luck ,
I've never heard of such a thing. But since they're old, I would get them straightened out. I would also ask to speak to someone in authority. If they denied my card, I would have called and said if that happens again, I will pif & close it down! Have you updated your email, etc with all of these accounts? I know they ask on occasion to update all your info so these kind of things don't happen.
I actually didn't have to mail anything, though I was prepared to. Even though I'm on vacation away from home I always bring every paper necessary in the event something weird happens. I was ready with an envelope that had a copy of my birth certificate, citizenship documents, passport, SS Card, DL, 3 bank statements, etc.

I called the VS Angel card number on the back and spoke with a fraud protection specialist. I explained what happened with the HSN account and she said she wasn't sure but she thought I'd just have to reapply for everything. Put me on hold for 20 minutes trying to find a sure answer.
She comes back on the line and says, "I was able to take a look at your credit history with the VS account and your other Comenity backed cards. We would hate to lose such a loyal customer so what I am able to do is retry the verification. She did and asked the same questions the HSN person asked and here's the kicker:
I GAVE THE SAME EXACT ANSWERS (all of which were doesn't apply or none of the above!) and she said she had never seen that before where all the question were none of the above or didn't apply. The n she says glorious words, "But it looks like it worked! You know what I can do? Unfortunately I can't reopen HSN since it shows closed for ail ute to verify already, but I can reinstate ALL your other comenity backed cards".
I about died! That was about the best answer I could've gotten within minutes I was able to log back in and everything was back to normal as if it didn't happen.
And I'm ok about HSN because my husband applied with me listed on his account and it was immediately approved. So I guess other than taking a small hit for having a 3k account closed that's about as good as I could've asked for for a resolution
